Due to the perishable and delicate nature of live plants, returns are handled carefully and fairly.
You may request a return, replacement, or refund if:
The plant arrives damaged due to poor packaging
The plant is dead on arrival (DOA)
You receive the wrong plant or product
The product is significantly different from the description or images
You must report the issue within 24 hours of delivery along with clear photos or videos as evidence.
The following cases are not eligible for return or refund:
Damage caused by improper care after delivery (overwatering, underwatering, extreme sunlight, etc.)
Delays caused by courier services beyond our control
Natural variations in plant size, color, or shape
Minor cosmetic issues that do not affect plant health
Requests made after 24 hours of delivery
Live plants are natural products, and slight differences are normal.
To request a return or replacement:
Contact our support team within 24 hours of delivery
Share your order number
Provide clear photos/videos of the plant and packaging
Explain the issue briefly
After review, our team will decide whether you are eligible for a replacement, store credit, or refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method, or
Store credit may be offered (based on customer preference and situation)
Refund processing time may take 5–10 business days depending on the payment provider.
In many cases, we prefer to offer:
A free replacement plant, or
A similar plant of equal value (if the original item is unavailable)
Shipping for approved replacements due to our mistake or damage will be covered by Bootaywala.
Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement (before dispatch)
Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of plants
Customers are responsible for:
Providing accurate delivery details
Being available to receive the parcel on time
Following basic plant care instructions after delivery
Bootaywala is not responsible for plant damage due to negligence after successful delivery.
